According to Tom Hill, Chairman of the YMCA’s Capital Campaign, “We wish to say a great big ‘thank you’ to PNC Bank for its generosity in supporting this Capital Campaign. For PNC to show this support as a relatively new member of our bank community says even more about their generous nature. They have really stepped up to help the community in a very tangible way and we greatly appreciate it.”
”PNC is committed to improving the health and vitality of our communities,” said Patrick Bilbrough, Market Executive at PNC Bank. “The expansion will bring innovative youth programs and additional services to residents, further strengthening the YMCA of Talbot County’s role as an integral community resource,” he added.
Over the years the YMCA has made significant progress in addressing specific areas of need in the community, such as after school programs, swim lessons, Camp Lazy Days, wellness programs, English as a Second Language, and summer camps.
According to Robbie Gill, President and CEO of the YMCA of Talbot County, “The YMCA of Talbot County is very appreciative of the $50,000 Capital Campaign gift from PNC. This gift will help the Y expand its programming to address the ever-changing needs of the community.”
