We offer more than 25 Water Fitness classes weekly. All are FREE to members. Pick up a current Water Fitness Schedule from the Welcome Center for class times and availability.

Adult Tranquility Hour

This special hour is reserved for adults who want to enjoy a quiet and peaceful time in the warm water pool.

Private Swim Lessons

Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are organized through a private swim Instructor. When inquiring about a lesson, leave your name, contact information, and specific lesson interests with the welcome center staff to pass onto an instructor. The instructor will then contact the person inquiring to set up lessons.
Payment is made after participating in each lesson. 30 minutes: $20/member, $40/program participant; 45 minutes: $30/member, $50/program participant

Water Babies

(6 to 36 months)

Water Babies is a water orientation course where moms or dads are in the water with baby for a positive parent-child experience while beginning adjustments to the water. You will also learn water safety through games and songs for success in later levels. Swim diapers such as “Little Swimmers” by Huggies® must be worn.

$35/member $70/program participant

Perch Plus (preschool)

(ages 2 1/2-3) To participate in this course children are required to be able to work with an instructor with a float belt. Water adjustment and basic skills are taught at this level.

Pike (preschool)

(ages 3-5) Basic Beginner: Water adjustment and basic skills are
taught at this level. Participants will work on getting in and out of
the water, putting face in the water, blowing bubbles and learning
how to use an instructional floatation device.

Eel (preschool)

(ages 3-5) Intermediate: Prior experience in Pike, able to swim
with flotation, with face in the water without assistance.
Pike and Eel class maybe combined at times to meet the needs of
the community.

Ray (preschool)

(ages 3-5) Advanced: Prior experience in Pike/Eel and/or able to
swim 20 feet with flat body position, face in the water, and with
no flotation. Can kick on one’s back 25 yards with flotation.

Starfish (preschool)

(ages3-5) Advanced: Prior experience in Ray and/or able to swim
25 yards on front, side and back without flotation.
Ray and Starfish classes maybe combined at times to meet the
needs of the community.

Polliwog (youth

(ages 6 and up) For children unable to swim the
length of the pool (25 yards) with a flotation device,
with head in the water.

Guppy (youth)

(ages 6 and up) Progressed through polliwog and/or Children able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) with flotation device and 20 feet without flotation.
Polliwogs and Guppies classes maybe combined at times to meet the needs of the community.

Minnow

Diving, treading water, and under water swimming are introduced at this level. Sidestroke, breaststoke, and refining of all other stokes previously learned are worked on at this level. Basics of water sports is continued at this level.

Fish (youth)

(ages 6 and up) Progressed through Minnow and/or children able to swim front crawl (freestyle) and backstroke for the length of the pool (25 yards) each.
Minnows and Fish classes maybe combined at times to meet the needs of the community.

Flying Fish (youth)

(ages 6 and up) Progressed through Fish and/or children able to swim 200 yards of front crawl (freestyle) and backstroke, 50 yards of elementary backstroke, whip kick and dolphin kick.

Shark (youth)

(ages 6 and up) Progressed through Flying Fish and/or children able to swim front crawl (freestyle), backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Flying Fish and Shark classes maybe combined at times to meet the needs of the community.
